New to the area googled best fish an chips in Cranbourne.This was the closest to us, the service was fast and super polite, the food even better ...hands down the best potato cakes I have ever eaten the batter was almost like a panko, the same for the beautiful price of flake I ordered.The kids raved about it when we got home with our order.Locked in as the place to go for our fish and chip fix , definitely going bac... What User doesn't like about Silver Mermaid Fish Chips:
Spent $65 on lunch for family pack and a basic burger. Over cooked, potato cakes were inedible, the whole lunch was terrible. The basic buger was stale and inedible also, and was one with the lot?? Fish/dims sims etc all cooked in old oil.Do not recommend at all. So disappointing for my elderly parents wanting to enjoy a lovely meal.Please contact me to offer a refund. View all feedback.
Best fishing and chips in the opposite! can not recommend this shop very much. we have closer fishing and chips to our house, but we travel happily further for the fishing and chips of silver mermaid. good quality eating, service is always wonderful and the owners are so friendly.

Dreadful eating, bought from here last night, 6. the little thing I had eaten left me sick resting in the müll. much better chip shops in cranbourne to be used to be great here
Great tasting, friendly service, value for money. Relatively quick to prepare and process your order, have been a repeat customer for many years and although the business seems to have changed hands a few times the quality of what you get for the price you pay remains the same.
Have been going to this Shop since I was a child! Still the best Fish and Chips I’ve ever tasted. My kids rave about the Potato Cakes!!!
