What Matthew likes about Brown's Surrey Gin Tea:
Lovely cafe atmosphere. Can just while away the day sitting in here having a beer. However, the poor chap serving us was obviously overworked as he had to prepare the drinks and cook the food, so as a result, food was slow to come out (the burger was nice though! and he was flustered and stressed. Felt so sorry for him. Need to employ more staff!! Food: 4 View all feedback.

"I gave this place a try as id heard good things. Wow, it did not disappoint. The menu is online and clearly presented outside the van. The staff were friendly and there are a couple of pub style tables where you can sit and wait. I did notice a few bins that were overflowing but lets focus on the service and the food here.First thing to note there was a minute wait for a burger and chips meal and a chicken wrap and chips meal. Thank you God a place that actually cooks to order rather than serves what has been sat there for ages. The wait was worth it because.....The chicken tikka wrap and chips were superb. The chicken was crammed into the wrap, was cooked perfectly and was extremely tasty. The chips had the look of being slightly overdone but they were not they were top class. The two meals cost Is this good value? I think yes because the service was friendly and the food was brilliant. You would never think it had come from a burger van if it were not for the packaging. Any improvement to make? Well, its cash only and I didn't notice that on their website. A card reader would offer more convenience but i would say this takes the score down from to What a gem of a place. First burger van i have ever been to where i would make a trip to it rather than use it because i happened to be nearby at lunchtime."
