"I recently did the Yorkshire 3 peak challenge with a group of group of nine friends, we booked rooms for the night, dinner and breakfast and could not have been happier with the service we received, we were greeted on arrival by very pleasant staff that were more than welcoming, taken to our rooms that were really cozy, clean and the beds were so comfy I had the best nights sleep, all the staff were amazing me and all my friends were really over the moon with everything this hotel provided, the food was absolutely amazing really tasty well cooked hearty food, just what we needed after a long day walking, I will definitely recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a nice break away stay with some lovely food and great service, I will definitely be back, thanks again guys"

"To stay over the weekend had an excellent meal in the evening breakfast morning after being, if the best I ever had men's wings his over price there is a travel lodge and mcdonald's in bradford prob it cost the same at the end. the personal is very friendly and professional nothing was much to disturb I could stay quite happy longer."

"Staying a couple of miles away at Howgill Camping so thought how better to spend a few hours than walk up to the pub. In Appletreewick we found this delightful pub, a real pub, like pubs should be. After having a drink we decided to eat and I'm glad we did. I had the Chicken Burger and my wife, the Steak and Ale Pie, both were delicious. The service was excellent and the atmosphere friendly. So much so we returned the next day, this time we both had the Steak and Ale. If you want a real pub serving real food with a smile, you can't go wrong here."

"Dined at the Black Horse Hotel whilst staying in Grassington. The restaurant has a nice welcoming and cosy feel to it. Staff make you feel very welcome and service is really good. There was a mixup with the order for the main course, which wasn't too much of an issue and was dealt with quickly. The menu has plenty of choice for all tastes. Had the loaded fries to start, the amount of barbecue sauce maybe a bit over powering. Followed this with the beer battered haddock and chips which was really good quality. Sadly had no room for dessert. Would visit again in the future."
