"Wonderful day trip from York! We rented 3 bikes: 2 mountain bikes 1 e-bike for the non-cyclist among us (me). The Swale Trail was lovely and a very pleasant ride along the river and past green pastures. On the way back, we decided to stick to the road, as it was smoother and had barely any traffic, plus it gave us a different vantage point. It was a bit of an effort to get to the top of the hill, but then it was smooth sailing all the way back down into town. The best thing about the rental experience, though, was the proprietor. He's the type of person you can instantly sense is a caring and decent human being. He was pleasant, helpful, and graciously accommodating of us making last-minute changes. Truly a pleasure!"

"Delicious cakes and lovely coffee spoilt by the rude girl behind the counter. When asked by my elderly mum if they served sausage rolls she was told to read the menu or look in the cabinets. The girl asked me what I size coffee I wanted and when I asked what sizes they sold she told me to look at the blackboard for the sizes! Appalling customer service."
