We absolutely loved our 2 nights at The New Inn in the gorgeous tiny Yorkshire village of Appletreewick. The Yorkshire Dales are stunning and we had perfect views of the countryside from room #2. Not serving beer in half glasses in a village where most folk will drive to is economic suicide. The contrast in visible customers with the other pub a couple of hundred yards up the road proves the point. The landlords gobby attitude is the other reason.
