She stayed here overnight on the way to north. very comfortable, well-equipped room. also here, good choices on the menu. I chose baked house with sauce verge. my partner had washed an oriental salad with a good sauvignon blanc. good selection of...real ales available. no parking is available, so is either on the main square or on side streets. I had two meals at The Black Horse, while staying here (I thought I'd do the correct thing and leave separate reviews for the food and hotel! and both meals were top class. As I've said, plenty of choice on the menu. I was torn...between about 7 or 8 different things...and I'm normally quite decisive!! Ultimately, I opted for the pork loin on the first evening.
