We love Up the Creek- it's a great local place that we always take our out of town guests to.
Up the Creek far exceeded my expectations! It is somewhat in the middle of nowhere connected to a gas station in an RV camp site.
Very good food and excellent staff, highly tecommended! We have eaten here three times and enjoyed it every time!

"Wish we had visited this little hole in the wall sooner! Excellent seafood, dessert and service. First we had the fried oysters and egg rolls. Started with sangria, beer oysters and egg rolls. The oysters were lightly battered and cooked perfectly. Egg rolls were huge and delicious. Then came the main course. I had the pan seared grouper and shrimp, hubz had the Cajun grouper. All of it was cooked perfectly and seasoned well. Portions are HUGE. Because we ordered so much food we got dessert to go. The dirt cup and banana pudding were fabulous. I can?t wait to go back and try some of their Vietnamese food!"

"Great little barbecue place between Tallahassee and St. George Island; not much in between worth stopping at. I had the chicken wings which were not very crispy but didn’t have the obligatory sugar found in many rubs, so that made up for it. My husband had brisket and ribs. He liked the brisket but loved the ribs. I liked his brisket better than my wings. Sides of potato salad and baked beans were good. Great and attentive service. Food came out quickly. Nice selection of country music and not too loud that we couldn’t talk."

"Late food, mediocre tastes, loud screaming kids. We waited nearly an hour to get our food and it was meh. Not worth $26 per dish. The sides were over cooked. Our deviled crab cakes were burned. Grits were mushy. Grilled veggies overcooked and also mushy. Frozen scallopsI could go on. Avoid this place. Its not worth your time or money. Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2"

"Me and my family went here this past week for Black Friday. I ordered the Gizzard Box. The food was freshly cooked, straight out the grease. The fries were nice and crispy. The tables were cleaned, everything was good...no complaints."

"Yes, good view, outside of that, bad experience. They served my favorite drink, that was not accurate, it was not grand mariner. Shrimp n grouper was almost non existent, very sad, used to be a great restaurant. I was very disappointed. Outside of the view, you have to wonder why people pay the post covid price for what they deliver. Really a big drop. I'll never go back."
