"Avalanche was recommended to me by my ski instructor. He was here. Both times I went to lunch, I had to wait about 10-15 minutes for a table. Your whole party must be there or they won't sit you. The first time I ordered the potstickers and sweet potato waffles. The fried potstickers were okay, but the sweet potato wafers were great. They could taste the truffle oil and the creamy diving sauce was a nice touch. The prices were reasonable and the service was fast. On the second day I ordered chili and sat at the back of the fire pit. I recommend Avalanche over other restaurants at the base."
