"The staff was very rude. we had to put the table and take the dinge back. the older lady told a parent to discipline her children. too much salat in salat and they can not adjust the menu to their lust. the environment was nice and they get 4 free sauces and 2 drinks free with what they get."

"If you want great food, great service and a great atmosphere Mario's is the place for you! Living on the island for many years Mario's is the only place that is consistently great. Every time we go somewhere else to try the food we instantly regret not going to Mario's. Seriously cannot fault a thing and the staff are lovely!!"

"Went here to pick up some pizzas after work at 5pm on a Tuesday and they were already busy. A good sign. I placed my order for 2 pizzas and it was ready in 15 minutes. The pizzas were very generously topped and delicious :) The pizzas are very filling and just right after a hard days work when your hungry. There is so much on the menu and I look forward to trying many more of these pizzas. Staff are super too :)"

"This was an unexpected delight original and quite Australian in feel the building is a simple shed structure which fits perfectly into the landscape. The view is gorgeous and the service was the best we 've had in years. The menu is interesting and I believe, would have something to suit everyone (including vegan). We had spanish meatballs and pulled pork tacos (both delicious)for entrees, followed by the saffron gnocchi and confit duck leg. We chose the local Pier 10 Pinot Noir which was also excellent. A very pleasant dining experience. We enjoyed having the choice of an a la carte menu instead of set 2/3 course which everyone is doing lately. thoroughly recommend."

"We were there for lunch yesterday, from the moment we walked in we were made to feel special. Although not a huge menu there is a variety of choices. We decided to have the matching wines suggested which were all excellent. Three courses and three glasses of wine was $227.00. Yes, a bit expensive, but we enjoyed every morsel!! For me this is a special occasion restaurant. Thank you to all the staff on duty yesterday at lunch. Hopefully we will be back one day."

"Planning a trip this weekend? Have you been to Phillip island? Looking for good local food? Have you tried the friendly, cosy pub, Rusty Waters Brewery and Restaraunt in Cowes? This local pub has refined and modernized meals and we loved it! <br/ <br/ We had the tasty seafood paella which had a generous amount of seafood thankyou! We also had the confit duck with greens, mash, orange and manderine segments drizzled with a delicious soy caramel sauce! Our sides included the must have roasted pumpkin with ricotta and amazing honey walnuts and we also had the fresh seasonal greens! And to top off the night we had the delightful white chocolate mousse which was served with honeycomb toffee, bitter chocolate sauce and a basil and mint oil! <br/ <br/ We love local food and this one is certainly one of our favourites"
