"We absolutely loved all our meals today .The pancakes with berries was light and delicious. The pulled pork burger was large and full of flavour. The steak sandwich and ham and bacon and egg roll were served in lovely turkish style breads.The coffee was superb .The best thing was the friendly service. Do try if visiting Cowes or Philip island."

"The staff was very rude. we had to put the table and take the dinge back. the older lady told a parent to discipline her children. too much salat in salat and they can not adjust the menu to their lust. the environment was nice and they get 4 free sauces and 2 drinks free with what they get."

"If you want great food, great service and a great atmosphere Mario's is the place for you! Living on the island for many years Mario's is the only place that is consistently great. Every time we go somewhere else to try the food we instantly regret not going to Mario's. Seriously cannot fault a thing and the staff are lovely!!"

"Went here to pick up some pizzas after work at 5pm on a Tuesday and they were already busy. A good sign. I placed my order for 2 pizzas and it was ready in 15 minutes. The pizzas were very generously topped and delicious :) The pizzas are very filling and just right after a hard days work when your hungry. There is so much on the menu and I look forward to trying many more of these pizzas. Staff are super too :)"

"This was an unexpected delight original and quite Australian in feel the building is a simple shed structure which fits perfectly into the landscape. The view is gorgeous and the service was the best we 've had in years. The menu is interesting and I believe, would have something to suit everyone (including vegan). We had spanish meatballs and pulled pork tacos (both delicious)for entrees, followed by the saffron gnocchi and confit duck leg. We chose the local Pier 10 Pinot Noir which was also excellent. A very pleasant dining experience. We enjoyed having the choice of an a la carte menu instead of set 2/3 course which everyone is doing lately. thoroughly recommend."

"Friendly, attentive, fun staff with good sense of humour. They understood about coeliac disease and what a coeliac customer could and could not be served. Lots of gluten free options. "We were there for lunch yesterday, from the moment we walked in we were made to feel special. Although not a huge menu there is a variety of choices. We decided to have the matching wines suggested which were all excellent. Three courses and three glasses of wine was $227.00. Yes, a bit expensive, but we enjoyed every morsel!! For me this is a special occasion restaurant. Thank you to all the staff on duty yesterday at lunch. Hopefully we will be back one day."
