What John W doesn't like about Marketplace Cafe:
Since the new owner took over, some prices have dropped, but the portions have shrunk as well, so it balances out. For example, the Reuben sandwich comes with just two paper-thin slices of corned beef, which isn't worth $8.99. The service was also disappointing. The new owner has a lot of work to do. Additionally, there are no homemade cakes available like there used to be. View all feedback.

We dined here once, and the owner personally prepares the food, which made for a wonderful experience. Be sure to check out the upstairs as well!
We had the gumbo (meat and seafood free), tomato basil soup, a grilled cheese sandwich, and cake. Everything was excellent!
