"We had no idea what Georgie’s was like when we decided to go there for dinner, and were very pleasantly surprised at its upscale yet comfortable feel and fantastic view. And the food?! Oh my gosh, it was sensational. Among other things, I had a bisque that was out of this world (see picture). My husband had a seafood platter that was mind boggling delicious. Our server had been on her feet all day yet was as nice and attentive as can be. This place is a gem! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner"

"This place was amazing tonight. Don't be fooled by the pub in the title, this place is upscale. It is a fine sit down meal after driving all day exploring. It has a relaxing atmosphere and the owners go out of their way to make sure you have a pleasant experience. The food was great and fresh. There are plenty of seafood options and the burger is amazing as well. Couldn't have asked for more! Did I mention we walked in at the last moment? Not even the slightest bit of hesitation about serving us. We even offer to come back instead for lunch so they could close up. The owners wouldn't hear of it and welcomed us in. Truly and great meal."

"We stopped in days in a row while driving and hiking. Great variety of hot and cold coffees and lots of fabulous treats. Vegan brownie is in the top of all desserts I've ever had. Don't worry if you are not vegan, give...it a try. Owner was engaging and helpful in terms of hiking. Wish we were here longer, I'd go back again. Ps he also rents out a cute looking airbnb. Top marks!"

"We went for dinner with 4 adults and 2 kids. the service was great. we were told we had to go early to avoid a line up so we went at 4:30 and by 6 it was busy. we had lobster, scallops and cod cakes but we started with the chowder and it was the best I ever had! really tasted fresh. we all enjoyed our food. glad we went!"

"The staff are friendly. The view is amazing. The inside is clean and light and is Oceanside without being tacky. My kids were welcome and there was a high chair and change table available. Food is great for a fair price. Not everything is deep fried."

"Beautiful location with a gorgeous view. The food was fantastic. Each course was beautifully prepared and delicious. Scallops and chowder appetizers were flawless. Pasta cooked al dente. One of the best meals we've had since we started our trip here in Newfoundland. Staff were great!...Helpful, friendly and fun. Highly recommended."
