"Nigel Tabb’s Sunday roasts are always special but this menu was particularly good. We only have beef as a rare treat, so, when we do have it, it has to be good. Today’s short rib dish was superb. The accompanying dishes on the menu made for an excellent leisurely lunch. Highly recommended."

"Above the harbour of newquay, this is a small jewel. cornish cream tee for 2 was excellent value with two huge homemade warm scenes, a pot jam and generous pot of dipped cream and garnished with fresh strawberry slices. with a large porcelain teapot of tea....£7.50 .a quality bargain."

"We just enjoyed a nice lunch in the taste. the service was error-free friendly and efficient and eating (shells, fish cake and a BLT sandwich) delicious and value for money. it's just dog-friendly lunchtime. no delay in the recommended. go and see them themselves."
