Absolutely excellent El Toro chicken burrito in molcajete sauce. Please don't die before trying one. Please....it would be a shame if you did. This is the ultimate classic real authentic Mexican food. I recently tried the queso fundido and that was awesome as well. The owner is a fantastic guy who will stop by and say hello if he's there. Totally family owned and operated, please don't croak without trying the awesom... View all feedback.

I want to give this restaurant a big shot out. This morning a homeless woman was sitting a few feet away the restaurant. She looked hungry so I went in side I told them the order was not for me but the homeless lady out side. The gentleman stated that’s really nice of you. He then stated we are gonna match you. He then handed me a felt like a 3 pound burrito and said it’s on us. Please show some love. Visit eat and know your in a great place that’s helping
The food here is absolutely delicious! Their soft tortillas are soooo good!!! Freshly made! I got the asada tacos and I’m hooked! Very friendly staff. I saw a gentleman helping a woman in a wheelchair on the way out. What amazing customer service! And such a nice gesture. And let me tell you about the agave mango margaritas!!! Definitely the best I’ve had in a long time!
This is our go-to for Mexican takeout. I have a weakness for crispy tacos, and these folks do them spectacularly well. I can never decide between shredded beef and chicken, so I always order one of each. My wife prefers the soft fish (tilapia) tacos, also excellent. And Taco Tuesday here can’t be beat. Everything is always fresh, and comes out right on time. The interior is perfectly fine; we just happen to live nearby and prefer ordering to go. Service is what you expect from a family-run restaurant that values its place in our tight neighborhood.
First time eating here and I’m never going back again. My family had reservations for a small party at 1 p.m. and they were five minutes late. I asked the old lady (who must be one of the owners) at the reception area if the party was here and she said rudely “No, They're late.” So I decided to take my elderly grandfather to the bathroom and the old lady started talking in **** under her breath in Spanish about me leading my Grandpa to the bathroom. Her overall service and mannerisms were rude as soon as you walk in and God forbid you ask her a question. The food was not great. It took over 45 min to even order food and another 45 to receive it. The meat was dry and there’s no flavor or sauce to anything. Their soda machine was broken so we had to pay per glass bottle refill. The tables were sticky and I wanted to hurry up and get out of there. I feel as if I wasted my time and money coming here. Never again.
I've been coming to them since 2008. It's one of my favorites. All the staff is incredibly kind and attentive. Their prices are great and the food is delicious. Today, I had their pozole, but I typically order their costillas with mocajete sauce, with a side of rice and beans and homemade corn tortillas. Amazing establishment. It's definitely one of Culver City's best Mexican restaurants!!!
