"We don't get to Cumberland often but we were told this was a good place to go and it was. Sat outside on a nice day...service was great and the beer was cold. Limited menu but we tried two dishes and were very pleased with both. Very good, lots of it and very reasonably priced. Highly recommend this establishment."

"This is one of the the best restaurants we've visited in the last couple of years. Our selection includes Seared Scallops Pork Belly, Miriam's Vegetarian Cakes, and Chorizo Crusted Sablefish. We really like the use of squash and black bean purées. Theservice was excellent. We did not sit in the garden as it was a bit cold, but we had a view of the garden. If this was inVancouver, if would have been booked weeks in advance and I would visit regularly for the Miriam's Vegetarian Cakes."

"Unfortunately, this is the only Greek restaurant in Courtenay. Place is picturesque, but the food.... No taste other than much salt. I don't think the Greek salad even had olive oil."
