"I have been a fan of Duck Donuts since there was only a single location. The donuts have changed a little, but the experience has changed a lot! Not a quaint, small town outing anymore. I really hope they turn off on-line ordering during the summer months because no one likes waiting in line for 20 minutes only to have an on-line order for 2 dozen donuts cut in front of you! I refuse to go to any of the franchise locations; I save the experience for vacations at OBX."

"Great dinner here last night! We had the seafood bisque and it was the perfect temp, full of seafood chunks and smothered in lobster sauce. Delish! We also had the lobster salad and Mediterranean salad—both excellent. Attentive, timely service topped off with a view of the ocean. Enjoy! "Really good prices for their seafood. We tried the frog legs, mahi basket special, catfish sandwich, she crab soup, fried okra, hush puppies and green beans. Everything was really fresh, however the catfish and the frog legs lacked seasoning. The green beans were obviously from a can. The highlights were the soup, the hush puppies (really, really good hush puppies) and the fried okra. Overall an average little place, with some more flavor to their food this could be excellent, especially since they already have the fresh products and competitive prices."

"Lighthouse Bagels has the best bagels on the east coast. Wide selection of bagels and sandwiches (vegan options too). Staff is always on their game and super friendly. The coffee cake is really good. They serve coffee from The Kind Cup which is an added bonus. This is the only place you need to go in Corolla for breakfast. Arrive early to avoid a long wait."
