This restaurant is less than a five minute walk from the Holiday Inn but the pavement is on the opposite side of a very busy road.The interior of the restaurant is pleasantly decorated and much better than the restaurant appears from the outside.There was a very good wine list. What Louise L doesn't like about Saffron Indian Cuisine:
Of late the quality of the food has deteriorated to the point we won’t be using this restaurant again. For example we ordered a bhuna which looked like soup and was very greasy as were the other dishes. The poppadoms tasted odd and the naan bread was dry. I imagine the chef has been changed. We have just had to throw away 2 takeaway meals from this restaurant. They were tasteless, a complete waste of £28 which is expensive for 2 curries and 2 rices....
