"Just tried them for the first time after they reopened and it was very good. The shrimp basket was as good as I’ve ever had anywhere. "Our spur of the moment trip to Abingdon for dinner paid off with a terrific evening. Smoked salmon appetizer, surf and turf with fillet mignon and escarlot (Amazing!! , great wine, and fascinating company/tour after dinner. The beautiful building and its history are worth the effort to go, but the food and service made everything pretty much perfect."

"We walked in expecting and a wait and instead we got got put in a wait list with 5 parties in front of us. Regardless of this, we were still sat in under 15 minutes and even had drinks before our table. Our waiter was helpful and offered the special which was potatoes, peppers and other items, topped with shrimp and toast with eggs fried on top. It was GREAT!! We also got the fish tacos and they were good as well with the tartar sauce, but I didn’t care for the salsa so much. The Parmesan fries were heavy covered in cheese when less would have sufficed. Over all we had a good time and would return."
