Food excellent. Chef made beef and pork cake was delicious. Staff friendly and chatting. View of the river while enjoying our meal in the restaurant was quiet.

There was no record of booking by Opentable. We had to wait 30 minutes for a table. The staff said they were really busy, but the restaurant seemed very quiet....

Very nice, although the rooms on the ground floor offer zero privacy. Restaurant is expensive, but OK.

"Wow, what a great Indian restaurant. after house darlington is en route so called to come in the city for a curry, this place had appeared on google maps. from the moment we arrived, we were treated with ease and respect. the lady who served us was so friendly and polite. our eating was amazing, I even had a curry that had been taken from the menu, they were happy to make it for me. service second to none. very favorable too. we would literally come from lincoln to come here. recommend to the bottom."

"Had lunch here Friday 30/12 with my wife , 10 and 5 year old. Cheese soufflé starter was very very good, I had Halibut for main and it was outstanding. Wife has scallop starter, perfect. For main she had the burger, as did our 2 kids, and they were excellent. Service was impeccable, a lovely lunch had by all."

"Had the pleasure to try stephenson's market plaice yesterday. we enjoyed it so much that we wanted to leave a review as soon as possible. they have the opportunity to take away or eat. we ate in the restaurant in the upper floor, which is beautifully decorated and very clean. the young man who served us was friendly and polite. our drinks and eating came fast and looked amazing. two of my party went for traditional cod chips, with me went for the 'whopper' size. there is a big difference, so if you want to get the big size, make sure you have a place! overall we couldn't rate this restaurant high enough. next time we're in the opposite, we'll return."
