amazing place for private parties. A trucker cafe used to be, but now closed. determines occasional parties. it's out of that, so no nasty problem. we had a great live band that also plays with a do until midnight. they can do it themselves or they can do it themselves. really nice and friendly host and allowed us to have what we wanted. many thanks for a great night. What samtranz doesn't like about Merry Chest:
Wasn't really hungry but....but am I not been biased because of that, opened the door, cold dark and the smell of fat burning smoke in the air , not the smell that should make you feel hungry, pleasant staff, but why in the English cafe do you have to be served by people wearing clothes they kick about the house in, again I'm feeling guilty about my review, cups had tea stains in, tables looked dirty , to the extent...
