"A very open, yet cozy spot to spend an evening, especially when they have live music. I have visited on several occasions and have particularly enjoyed their calamari, mussels, seafood feature, feature cocktails and so much more. Honestly, it’s all so good. "Service was lovely. Options for gluten free. Server was lovely about requests to our order. Lunch special had lovely flavours and was truly well crafted. Lovely tea in a pot. Fabulous coffee Atmosphere was a bit noisy up until after 1 pm. But regardless we will come back soon."

"John's Lunch came highly recommended and definitely lived up to expectations. The location is great with ferry and bus access at Woodside and easily accessible regardless of where you're coming from. The service was prompt and really friendly. They know they're good but they are humble about it, and this is probably what makes them the best. The haddock was probably the best I've ever had and the rice pudding was great, too. I will definitely return in the future and I think you should too."

"All I can is excellent. A very busy restaurant and Mother got her booth, loved her birthday fish and chips, doggy bag to take home and especially atmosphere. Our wait staff, in particular, was lovely and very accommodating, thus large tip! As a matter of fact, we’ll be back for my breakfast birthday in March. See you soon!"

"Your trusty and respected HRM food reviewer here... Sir E cant say enough good things about Byblos! So, I'll stick to what must be said: Byblos is a very nice, relaxing and clean establishment that boarders authentic fine dining. The waiter (whom E believes is also be the owner) is a fantastic host who is easy to get wrapped up in conversation with and has great wisdom. The food is by far the best Lebanese food in HRM and Byblos has a vast menu that E wants to try more of. Don't forget to have a couple glasses of the house red at a very reasonable price! E thought it was quite nice quite nice indeed. This restaurant is being overlooked with so many lunatics flocking to Mizu all you can eat right next door, and Sir E urges you all give Byblos a try! E"
