We enjoyed a cup of soup, a panini, latte, and bread pudding at this restaurant. Everything was incredibly tasty. I would definitely recommend it. The service was great and the staff were very friendly. We dined in for brunch and the price per person was between $10-20. View all feedback.
What christopher meuser doesn't like about Cafe D'marie:
Service was very poor and we waited 30 minutes at our table just to have our order taken. My scone was hard as a rock. They don’t seem prepared for a large crowd. The barista was very busy and did a great job. Smoothie and coffee drinks were excellent. That, however, took quite a while to get because she seemed overwhelmed although there were 2 other people working behind that counter. Also, if Food service protocols... View all feedback.
That is a hidden gem of a place! the mushroom soup is fantastic, the paninis are delicious, the tea selection and taste is good, they have so many coffees that are interesting to try and it is very welcoming. I love it that it is located in a historic home, but feels like a small French/American cafe. If you didn't try, you should.
This is such a special gem. And their bread pudding is like a secret mystery brew that once imbibed makes you a better human and also obsessed.
Honestly truly the freshest food I have ever!!! And such a cute café! Everything was great not one thing I could complain about !Can’t wait to make this a regular place for me!!
Hidden Gem. Great paninis, quiches and frappuccino's. Try the combo.
What a unique hidden gem in Davenport! We were in town for a night looking for somewhere to grab a bite before driving home. We were overwhelmed by their delicious sounding sandwich menu. Once we ordered we ended up adding a craveable sounding quiche fresh baked cinnamon roll to our order. Everything was as tasty as can be and their lattes were so unique and delicious. The ambiance is reminiscent of a New Orleans style Cafe with a French flair. The French music playing in the background sets the tone for a relaxing escape from the day. The rooms are bright airy and filled with greenery and art. Can't wait to come back when the weather warms up to have a seat on the patio. The owner DeAnna was so sweet welcoming and should be so pleased with this hidden gem of a spot. Places like this are hard to find and it's a must visit for lunch if in the Quad cities!
