What Lindsay C likes about Canalside:
Lovely cosy little pub/cafe with warm fireplaces inside and outdoor seating right next to the canal to watch the barges come and go. We didn't have food but there were omelettes and such like available, plus cakes and pastries. We only stopped for drinks and enjoyed our visit. When the weather is nice you can also eat and drink outside, And into the accessible rooms also come clientele with wheelchairs or physical limitations.

What Adrian B doesn't like about Canalside:
On two separate visits a simple bar order was delivered incorrectly and had to be corrected, much to the annoyance of the member of staff serving us (the same one on both occasions). This in itself would be excusable, but coupled with the filthy cutlery (see photo) means we won't be returning. read more.
