We were lucky enough to be able to book in on Sunday morning for lunch the same day after a walk in Badby Woods, and so glad we did. Really excellent food and nice to get a choice of how the beef was cooked unusual for a Sunday roast at a pub. Meat arrived cooked perfectly, roast potatoes were incredible, some of the best cauliflower cheese I've ever had. Couldn't have asked for more, will definitely be back! View all feedback.

When we turned up the male behind the bar was vaping I thought vaping and smoking were band inside pubs and was talking to his mate so it took ages to get served. When we went to the pub previously they did cocktails so I was looking forward to having one over Christmas to be told NO we don’t do them not even a simple cocktail. Always keen to find authentic village pubs, this is a gem. Sunday lunch was a real treat with super beef, good wine and Taylors beer. Great garden, good service...
