This is the best Italian restaurant we've ever visited! We live in Pembroke Pines, but our son and his wife invited us out for dinner, and the food was outstanding! Truly authentic Italian cuisine! View all feedback.
What Alysa Jacobi doesn't like about Angelos Pizzeria:
Must try their penne ala vodka! It’s really gooood! This is our favorite Italian place! The restaurant is small but served delicious food, price is cheap compared to other italian place. 3 star because a new waitress (lady on the phone) got mad at us when we only ordered 2 pizza slice for pick up to go, she said “We don’t want to waste a pizza box so you should eat outside!?? “ Whaaaat!! We’ve never experienced that... View all feedback.

We’ve never experienced that here, we always stop by and get pizza, i hope it won’t happen again because we really like this place! I’ll update review if next time we order 2 slice and still get good service. I hope they hire more nice servers!

I am a professional therapy student at nowa and came today to judge the accessibility for people with mobility and visual impairment. we are very worthy that the staff lets us evaluate the opposite! input: the entrance was accessible with respect to the wide of the way and the standing from the parking lot to the civic platform. the path was formed from smooth brick finishers. with the building: all the rooms in the building were the right wide to allow mobile devices to navigate the space. there was a contrast between wall and floor as well as text on signs. there was sufficient visibility through the windows that allow natural light, and there was blindly available if it becomes too bright. rooms: there were two toilets, both with wide doors and equipped with grab bars. the lighting in the bathroom was automatic and provided sufficient lighting. the sink was in a good height so that a mobility device can fit underneath it. institutions: the personal was attentive and ready to help theke! they were very nice that we could finish our job there. there was a high contrast to the signs on the outside of the building and the walls where they were. usability: overall, the exterior and interior of the building was usable for persons with mobile devices or with a lower level.
The staff at Angelo's were so nice and accommodating! We came in as Nova students with an assignment to measure using the CHEC assessment to see how accessible this restaurant was for individuals with mobility and visual impairments. The parking lot is accessible for mobility device users with ample room for parking and accessible curb cuts. The doorways are wide enough according the CHEC, and the handles are light enough to easily open (no automatic door). The inside of the restaurant is very spacious and has room to easily navigate a mobility device. The floor space is free of clutter and everything is clean and organized. The bathrooms have grab bars, the door can be opened easily, and there is clear space under the sink for knee clearance for wheel chair users. There is not 5 feet of circular space for a wheelchair to turn around easily, however, it is still an accessible bathroom for mobility device users. The lighting within the restaurant was great, but the menu boards were high up and could be difficult to read for individuals with low vision. Overall, the restaurant staff were very kind to us and the overall accessibility is exceptional.
