Walking from Schwarzee through the wonderful Zum Zee, this place was stumbled across - fortuitously at about 2pm, in time for lunch.A lovely outdoor setting, with a pretty adjacent village church. The rosti was authentic and delicious - the real thing ie potatoe ribbons, little else (cream, cheese) to flavour it, so it was healthy and really sustaining for walking too. A schmorle quenched the thirst nicely. read more.

In pleasant weather you can even be served in the outdoor area.

What Laur Kangro doesn't like about Berghaus Stafelalp:
A couple of years ago this place was amazing but we went today for exactly the same meal - Rösti and it was completely different. Reheated Rösti with a few cats hairs :( The views are stunning so I would go back but perhaps go for a salad! read more.
