"Akari is located in a strip mall. Price, quality and size is definitely a thumb up. I got the California combo and on top, I added a chop scallop roll. Portion size was huge. The California roll here is definitely bigger than what you would usually get at other Japanese restaurants. I liked the gomae the most. Plenty of sauce. Sauce is what makes the gomae tasty. Their spicy roll had a very generous amount of salmon. Service is a ok. Nothing too wow on service. We asked for a pot of tea. They weren't happy about giving it to us. But again, I think they later realized the times that they had to go and refill our tea pot. They had to refill our tea pots every 20 mins. If I didn't ask for a pot, it would be every 5 mins. I also liked their green tea or tea that they provided. It was definitely good quality tea. I highly recommend giving this place a try."

"Loved the elegant and traditional Greek interior of the restaurant. my family had the lammsteak that was better than most of the five star restaurants in the city. I tried her vegetarian dolmades dinner. it surpassed my expectations completely, and the servings were huge. all employees. offered amazing hospitality and have often verified us, although it was busy. I am looking forward to the return to this jewel of a place. this restaurant has the best kitchen, ambiente and customer service."

"Mario's is a great place to go for all occasions. Whether it's date night, a night out with your friends, or a family get together, they have something for everyone. It is the best pizza in the lower mainland. I tried the big Hawaiian which is an interesting twist on a classic. They add teriyaki chicken and it's amazing. I also tried the stuffed mushrooms as an appi and they were some of the best I've ever had, with fluffy cream cheese and delectable crab meat. Their entire menu looks delicious and I look forward to going back and trying something new. It's always fairly busy, but it's worth the wait, and the staff are very hard working and friendly. The owner went by to several tables to ensure all guests were enjoying themselves. He loves his job and you can tell by his attention to detail and his kind, happy demeanor. I highly recommend Mario's and can guarantee an exquisite dining experience!"

"This is a great hole in the wall restaurant. The service was so warm and welcoming and felt very comfortable. Food was great, portions were huge! To end it all, the owner came by with shots of ouzo. I love a good Greek restaurant and this did not disappoint at all. I can’t wait to come back if I’m near the area!"

"This is an amazing Mediterranean restaurant, Greek food that is amazing. The family that own the place are fantastic and come out to greet everyone. They even remember your name and your favorites if you are a regular. Sia even changes up the way he cooks his very fresh calamari for me as I like it done a particular way. Friendly staff, lovely setting, a little out of the way, but worth every effort to eat this delicious food!"
