"The bad: Booked a table here with the more than 2 days anticipation. For some weird reason the table booking did not include wine tasting while in a winery!! . And, the table is marked booked for another appointment two hours later. Which makes me feel kicked out before entering. Dry prawns and overall overcooked meats. The good: Very tasty sauces and veggies. Good wines Rose , good platter size with an overall good view. If you have a shy annus, then this is your place. Cozy bathrooms available as well."

"I don't often review places, unless I feel it's genuinely warranted. This is by far the best fish and chips (Family Pack) we have EVER had! The chips were well seasoned, the servings were huge, the batter for the pineapple fritters had a light dusting of cinnamon and were wrapped individually from the rest of the box contents, the fish pieces were thick and cooked perfectly, the prawn finger things had garlic in them, the calamari was seasoned well and perfectly cooked and tender not chewy... it was all just so perfectly done! And doing all of this during peak time on a sunday evening when nothing else in town was open. You'd never get anything like this in Perth. The attention to detail and the little things in the order were amazing. Thanks for allowing our family to have a lovely Sunday dinner! Definitely coming back and recommending!!!"

"15/1/16 booked a table for 730, had to wait for the table, then line to order food. looks like being occupied by at least a few people. it was said that eating would take half an hour, with which we were satisfied how busy it was. an hour later we had to ask where our food was and 20 minutes later it came. eating was actually very good quality, which was a pleasant surprise after waiting. our group had steak, ripen and parmi and all thought that it was eating great. shout to the guy who seemed that everything on the restaurant floor runs despite little help from others. if I could recommend something to this place, it would be appropriate to take care of the place during the holiday...read more"

"First time we have tried Massimo's and we will be back again. Good choice of toppings and excellent service. We have had pizza's in Italy and Massimo's is equal to any there. Well and truly worth trying."

"Disappointing. Advertised as opening til 10pm but when we arrived on Tuesday at 8.45pm they had stopped serving food. We said we would try again Wednesday which we did, and arrived at 7.30 only to find it was booked out for a function! Not wanting to turn us away a second time, they were very apologetic and kindly fitted us in but then after we ordered, told us it would be a half hour plus wait. We ordered the marron, prawns and oysters with gourmet salad and the lamb and dam. Oysters were excellent, very fresh. Prawns and marron cooked well, but lacked any seasoning and were cooked plain. Nothing gourmet about the salad which appeared to be salad out of a bag and some remnants of quinoa which I only realised was there when I had finished and was wondering what the little blobs on the plate were. Lamb was very overcooked. $44+ per dish was over priced given the lack of attention to detail. Wine was superb, especially the Estate Riesling. Service was friendly but amateur. The wait staff were too busy tucking in to a cheesecake to serve us. Expected a lot more from a fine dining restaurant."
