"Shoal creek is so good! The service and food were both great. I sat at the bar and Ashley was so helpful. She was quick with our order and made really delicious drinks as well as being super friendly and knowledgeable. The Shoal Creek bread was the perfect warm, cheesy appetizer. "PLEASE GO HERE! Reasonable pricing for such high quality- Delectable sushi. The Hiroshima is so filling and soo delicious. Their customer service is OUT OF THIS WORLD. They literally held the door for my boyfriend and I when we were leaving. Totally recommend for date night. I really wanna try their dragon balls. Everything was so delicious."

"We've been meaning to try Egg House Cafe ever since it opened a few months ago. We finally had our chance on Father's Day. There was a bit of a wait for seating and apologies that our food was taking so long, perfectly understandable that day. But everything was delicious and worth the wait. I had the French Crepes with lots of yummy berries with a side of thick, perfectly cooked and tasty bacon. I can't remember what hubs had because I was too focused on my own plate , but I do remember him saying it was very good and he'd come back again high praise indeed! They kept my coffee and our waters filled. Great service at the table. They need dedicated staff to seat people and run the register. Someone was doing triple duty that day and the counter was often unattended with lines in and out clogging the entrance. Perhaps a better set up to keep the traffic jam down. Just a few years ago, Denton had only a couple of so so breakfast places. Now there's one on nearly every corner, and most are very good. Egg House Cafe is high on our favorites list. We will definitely be back many times!"

"A buddy of mine has been raving about Komodo Loco for several months, so when I had the opportunity, I had to see first hand what the fuss was about. It is off the beaten path, near Downtown Denton, off Hickory, on Oakland, which is a seldom traveled side street. The place looks like it is a 100 year old brick building that has an interior reminiscent of the best restaurants in New York City or Chicago, definitely not Denton. Very chic, yet very comfortable. Gabi our waitress was off the charts stellar. We started with shishito peppers that were pan blistered with sesame seeds and served with soy sauce and lemon, Wow! We followed with chicken skinz which are fried chicken skins served with wasabi micro greens, green onions, sesame Thai, and Korean barbecue sauce. Incredible! My friend had a bayou tower, which consisted of raw spicy tuna, avocado, serrano peppers, fried crawfish tails, creamy wasabi, eel sauce and cilantro. He said it was beyond fabulous. I had the fuego rojo roll. It consisted of spicy raw tuna, fresh jalapeno, ebi shrimp, habanero tobiko, strawberry, and sesame Thai sauce. The quality of food is beyond belief, the service is on point, the decor is cutting edge, and the prices are moderate. Dinner was one incredible taste after another. This is fusion cuisine beyond expectations. There is nothing in the Dallas Fort Worth metroplex that holds a candle to Komodo Loco. Put this place on your Bucket List and you will return time and time again. On a scale of one to ten, I give this place a seventy five."
