"If you go early in the evening, this is an awesome place to eat. On weekend nights though, it turns into a crowded college bar, and pretty much excludes any kind of decent dining experience. During the week, and early evening on weekends, you won't find better food in the town of Olds. It should have been a restaurant instead of a bar, because they've mastered the art of short order cooking here."

"5 stars on fresh, delicious food served in a small dining area of the restaurant. Service was happy and inviting. All 6 specialty maki rolls, 2 x orders of salmon sashimi, and the korean fried chicken chunks with yum yum sauce, that our table ordered was fantastic."

"After experiencing prime rib at a buffet in Las Vegas; lets just say the cow died in vain; the steak sandwich at Grouchy's was amazing. Nothing like Alberta beef prepared properly. The service was excellent. Staff was very friendly. On a side note, I didn't really care for the Olds College Saazquatch brew, but the Hay City was very good. Its a matter of taste. The restaurant and the brewery have a bright future."
