"Excellent food. Excellent service. No gf menu, but waitress was happy to say what coukd are made gf. She also said if I saw something else on the menu that I want them to put me as well as possible. She was clear that the rice was not gf because of the wort, and frits are in a common frit. She recommended the baked potato as they are individually packed in tinfoil. I want to emphase that she only told me when she had a Gf menu!"

"Stopped here for lunch so glad we did because the people were friendly and the food was delicious! Had Digby scallops for appetizer and Green curry with shrimp and glass noodles. Curry was really outstanding! So many wonderful flavors and just the right amount of heat. They were busy so it took a while but it was worth the wait!!"

"We were looking for fried clams and scallops. We found them at Ed's. The staff were wonderfully quick and the food was tasty. World Famous Digby Scallops - definately!"

"I ordered a party smokey bacon donair pizza and there was a hair cooked into my first bite. This isn't the first time this happened and they refused to fully refund me, won't be ordering again disgusted. Don't recommend unless you want hair in your food recardos is better and cheaper. Not to mention the extremely rude driver who was yelling about the situation when I called to complain. Service: Delivery Meal type: Dinner Price per person: CA$40–50"

"The view off the balcony was beautiful. The food was excellent. My only complaint was the when entering the restaurant first question was do you have a reservation. We said no, we were recommended by the motel we were staying at. They told us we might not have a spot for you. But all of sudden they had a table inside. What upset me the most was the whole time we were at the restaurant there was a lot of empty tables. I know during covid they have to space tables, but this was a lot of empty seats. I found the manager and the waitress abrupt and not that friendly. That is why the 4 star review. The food was excellent and loved the view."

"We stopped at the last restaurant on the strip "The Captains Cabin" , which was the only establishment which had empty seats, many in fact! After eating here I know why!Word of advice STAY CLEAR! I ordered the lobster wrap $15.99 which had 6 or 7 microscopic pieces of lobster in it the rest lettuce! Oh I forgot it came with mashed potatoes, which of course were "instant"! My wife ordered the Captains Table special Greek salad which arrived with absolutely no dressing! The poor waitress who was new was very nice. Very disappointed!"

"The line up for drive-thru is ALWAYS a 20 minute wait. It 's legit like a 5 minute wait for each car ahead of you and there 's never less than 10 cars. You get to the speaker and no one says can I take your order? for a good 2 minutes. So you just sit there and wait. So they can catch up. If Digby is going through a population boom due to all the Ontario, East Indian, Chinese and Ukraine people moving here, then the town needs to step up and meet the demand by expanding services, drive-thrus etc. No reason the people who have lived here all their life should have to wait 30 minutes in a line up for take out, because everyone from outside of Nova Scotia chose to take up residency in our little town."
