"We started off coming here as an incentive for my little brother when he does good in school for the week. Well now we like it so much we come a couple times a week and enjoy snowballs. Price was reasonable and the staff is really friendly. The thing I like the most is the mini play area they have on the side of the building."

"We chose Gabe's Downtown as our catering service for our wedding and it was INCREDIBLE!! Tami took care of every single detail and they made the most amazing food (including bar services) for our special day... guests were still raving about the food almost two weeks later! We would absolutely choose Gabe's again for any catering service or special event. We also went for dinner one night because we were craving the appetizers we chose for our wedding and had an entire meal which was incredible! Thank you, Gabe's Downtown!"

"I just left Blue Rose Art Bistro for lunch with my son today. I had a horrible experience with customer service, the food and my bill. For the 2 of us, it took an hour and 15 minutes for us to receive our food. My son 's sweet potatoe soufflé was burnt, not edible (they did take it off the receipt), and Mac n ' cheese tasted bitter, but I didn 't complain about that, we both just keep it. However, my biggest concern was when I received my bill. The initial bill had one amount, but after they ran my debit card, they ran it for a different amount which was a few dollars more. The initial receipt the waitress gave me said total amount. Ergo, I was expecting to pay that amount, they ran my debit card for more than that amount. When I asked our server to please explain why I had 2 receipts with 2 different amounts, she stated that she didn 't know because she just started working there a week ago. Another lady who stated she was the manager came over and stated that Blue Rose charges 3.99% for all debit/credit card transactions. I told her I didn 't understand why they would charge this fee considering this is how most people pay for things, and many individuals do not carry cash. But even when I applied the 3.99% to my bill, the amount did not add up to what that total was. It was really basic math and this manager was profoundly confused herself. Not to mention her explanation made little to no sense. Although it was a few dollars over, the amount was not a big deal, as it was the principle of the matter to me. If they add a few dollars to every bill from unassuming customers who do not pay attention like myself, they can make quite a bit of money each day/night and that 's not fair to the customer. It 's misleading and dishonest at best. The owner knew the issue and would not come over to explain why I had 2 receipts with 2 different amounts. IMO, I felt that this was unethical and unprofessional at best. Has anyone else dealt with these issues at Blue Rose Art Bistro?? Needless to say I won 't be going back to patronize them!! Neither of us enjoyed our food and felt that we 'd had much better. And this is not me trying to disparage a business as I would urge anyone to go try them for yourselves. I had a bad experience and elect not to return. I would like to add that I had been here before and the food was much better. Maybe they changed cooks/chef, but the food was not good at all. My teenage son who eats mostly anything even agreed that the food was subpar."

"Gumbeaux's is by far the best cajun restaurant in West GA. They have great spice and flavor. You can't make reservations and they won't sit you until your whole party is with you, but the wait is always worth it. Highly recommend getting there early."
