beautiful staff went beyond and beyond. my coffee was exquisitely made with an artistic flour on the milk foam, which was unmatched by the dirty coffeeries. my sausage roll was warmed without asking, and it was delicious, served with a clean knife and fork on a real teller! if only other caffes could follow the example. What Linda W doesn't like about Hope Lane:
Awful customer service. The three young women behind the counter complained non stop and repeatedly said how much they wanted to close and go home at lunchtime on Sunday. Asked for iced Lattes. They had run out of both milk and ice. Saw one of them cough all over the service counter without bothering to cover her mouth. Not a word of greeting, thanks or goodbye to customers. Fabulous coffee shop, that serves the best coffee in town. The staff are amazing,they are all always so friendly and helpful. Excellent customer service.
