Booked a table for 4 people at this nice friendly pub and was greeted like old friends.
Came here as a last minute plan with my fiancé and mum. We all had a starter and roast dinner and enjoyed each course. The cauliflower cheese was so good!! We will definitely come back again. Thank you
Turned up, was ignored, female member of staff walked out back, male member carried in polishing cutlery. Asked about lunch told no. Told them website said otherwise he just said it was dead so kitchen shut Very disappointed, won't bother again.
Spent a lovely evening in this public house, the food was excellent, well cooked and presented nicely and tasted wonderful. the creamy garlic mushrooms and the leek and potato soup we had for starters were very tasty. My pie with its 'raise the roof ' puff pasty lid looked as good as it tasted, and we rounded off the meal with traditional puddings, treacle sponge pudding and custard.
Have used the Hare and Hounds on and off for ages unfortunately more off than on! A series of owners/managers have failed to maintain a reasonable standard.
