What Michelle Nevin doesn't like about Pearl Brasserie:
Truffle overload, they literally put it on everything!!!! Truffle should be used sparingly; it disguises all flavours. Crab starter was disappointing, lacked flavour, I even scraped the salt off the delicious butter for flavour!! Fillet of beef was yum, cooked perfectly, and lemon tart was incredible!
