"This beautiful cafe in the agnew park at the stranraer seafront is very popular with local and with tourist through. callum is the chef and his wife magda leads the cafe/bistro. it is affordable and very good quality eating here, with a meat or vegetarian menu available and some gluten-free options. or they can only choose a coffee and a cake or a scones. many customers outside when we visited, with bikes and dogs welcome. huge parking near and public toilets."

"Dined here once duing our stay, as could not get booked again, which was a mistake on our part. One disapointing factor was they advertised Dog Friendly, YES if you want to eat outside as they only have 2 Pod's. Book well in advance if you want a POD. Menu not the same as on the Website. "Stopped in Sunday, sat outside as it was glorious, had to go into order. Food was better than ok but not outstanding, good range o f beers and a few fizz cocktails. scampi, fish n chips, chilli wrap, cod loin “au poivre” , Bellini, small wine, zero alcohol lager and pint Maybe a tad overpriced but food was cooked nicely."
