"What a beautiful shop, fantastic for gifts.... Very friendly and helpful staff too. They have a beautiful selection of velvet bags, lots of interesting books to buy, and my favourites, bunnies and little fluffy animals made by Kelly cat. A fantastic shop to go into and browse, lots of Christmas items to purchase, and a wonderful coffee shop to pop into, once you have made your purchases."

"We are locals and have been to Piccola Italia Moniaive several times. We have always had very tasty food, with the added benefit of great service. The owners and staff do a great job. It can be a struggle these days for a small business to keep going, especially when they are out in the sticks but Piccola Italia thrives due to simply being great at what they do. Four of us went along last night for my niece 's 18th. We were allowed to bring a birthday cake with us, which the staff were happy to bring out with sparkly candles, with our coffee at the end of the meal. Very generous of them to allow us to bring our own cake. Our meal was excellent, and a good time was had by all. Thanks Piccola Italia Moniaive ! Highly recommend."

"This was just wonderful in every way. A meal which completely outdid recent visit to Tom Kitchen restaurant in Edinburgh in every way. Beautiful food. Wonderful care very personal. Unobtrusive. Honest honest. And food sourced and grown locally. I was encouraged to run my finger round the plate to pick up the last drops of sauce. 'Feel at home '. So very relaxing. The four of us dining just loved it. Not cheap but excellent quality and value for money. Worth every penny and pound! Shall return!"
