Given the reviews we thought this would be a safe bet for a takeaway while visiting Dumfries. Unfortunately we weren’t inspired nor did we enjoy what we choose. The portion size we felt was smaller than a typical takeaway, the chicken balls should be renamed chicken pancakes and were not only very stodgy but greasy too. As we were hungry we ate what we ordered but we were sadly disappointed read more.

"This was just wonderful in every way. A meal which completely outdid recent visit to Tom Kitchen restaurant in Edinburgh in every way. Beautiful food. Wonderful care very personal. Unobtrusive. Honest honest. And food sourced and grown locally. I was encouraged to run my finger round the plate to pick up the last drops of sauce. 'Feel at home '. So very relaxing. The four of us dining just loved it. Not cheap but excellent quality and value for money. Worth every penny and pound! Shall return!"

"Disgusting customer service by one of the young girls that work here had an altercation with staff , she was really rude staring at just our family the whole time whilst paying the first bill she just held the card machine to us not a single word spoken , so i asked how much it was she said “19” … 19 what ?? The attitude was vile i said is that your customer service with every one , “yeh it is and what, it wasnt even your bill so whats your problem” , the food was undercooked the chips were pale , my sisters who both had panini meals are now ill , expensive for absolutely disgusting greasy food the childrens chicken nuggets were undercooked and soaked with grease so much it squeezed on to the plate the toilets were vile and the smell was horrible."
