I would never go back here again for my brother's Birthday Dinner because it was so expensive and the food was ok

"We were looking for a ‘light lunch’ on a drive to the Solway Firth and found this. Despite it being busy, the staff found us a table and I can only say that perusing the menu we were spoiled for choice! My husband had the fish and chips with a side of onion rings while I had the fish pie. I can only say that as well as being delicious, the portions were enormous! Desperate Dan would have been proud of the size of the fish pie which was stuffed with beautifully tender fish and prawns. So, not such a light lunch but we couldn’t fault what we had. On paying, the bill was checked through with us which I think is a great idea and saves and possible hassles. Thanks to the staff for fitting us in. Highly recommended!"

"Poor expensive food. Served by children. The girl who served me had to stand on a box!!! Only takes cash. Would not recommend it. Most of my food went ion the dustbin."

"Vegan friendly! they have vegan haggis that is so good. my meat-eating friend also enjoyed it. they also offer a vegan version of a traditional Scottish breakfast. the personal is really nice and attentive. oh and their baked things are delicious! although I don't think that's vegan. very recommend frau greens! photos are from a breakfast sandwich. with veggie haggis, ice cream and delicious brown sauce on the side. oh and a coffee! They also have no milk options."

"Eventually made the time to try this place out. A late lunch with my daughter so managed to walk in without a booking. An extensive menu, maybe too extensive. But opted for a favorite, fish n chips, haddock I think. Crispy coating, lovely fish. My daughter opted for burger with haggis n bacon. She loved it. Its a pub with slightly overpriced food, but the quality was great. The decor of the place was traditional, if a bit tired. But worth a visit."
