we've been here for 5 years. we always come to the bladder inn for drinks or eating. in all my travels I never had a friendly reception. all that the owner and his team do is make their visit. an unforgettable one. the locals are great characters from the laird to the barman. we have a dog. eating is fresh, tasty and very cheap. that's a real old pub. pub nice, waiter nice but service was very slow, no one checked back to see if everything was in order. it took more than 20 minutes to clean dirty plates away. eat very average, the calorie-rich meat was in order, but the veg/potatoes/Yorkshire puddings were all frozen so we...feel it was overpriced, child food was all frozen I think for chips and a burger charge £7 is very exaggerated.
