"Stopped in on our second night of camping with no expectations. The food was outstanding! Garlic mushroom appetizer was perfectly seasoned and cooked. Sirloin steak actually had a phenomenal crust and was cooked exactly medium rare as requested. Chips, onion rings, peppercorn sauce and mushroom side were all great in their own right. Very pleasantly surprised."

"2nd visit to Galloway, 2nd visit to the pheasant and 2nd time it was on point. Great service, delicious food, great surroundings and if you get chance to try the basil frozen yoghurt take it! Ask what chef has on the go off the menu as well for some great local offerings."

"Very good friendly service, good food, good size portion excellent value for her money. we only go occasionally because its 1hr 3/4 drive from home about 60 miles. we are both vegans his so beautiful to go somewhere have a selection of several elements on the menu."
