"Amazing repeat experience. We visited here 12 months ago and enjoyed wonderful cuisine; in particular a unique dish of “Prawn Carbonara served on Linguine” truly incredible. We have travelled back here again from Cheshire and this was a destination objective. My goodness it was well worth it. A remote gastro pub where the service is second to none and the cuisine sublime."

"Great wine restaurant! what a sound. in a small proximity to the main road, but it is worth looking for. the small garden in the back ideal when they visit with children who like a winey nose around. so glad we picked it up! great food, nice selection of local food, seafood and German specialties. all homemade and delicious! the bisque was great, garlic bread with anchovy was a nice note. my jaeger schnitzel was a great choice, finally something else. reminded me of home and the large continental kitchen. the wildness of my wife and the wild mushroom lasagne was also very tasty. the children's menu was super simple and good ballanced, the young had chicken strips and fried kartoffeln. once again a well-made dish, although it is for children. the fried kartoffeln were still something completely different! wow! beautiful selection of German beers! the staff also made us feel at home: dakujeme! total, great wee restaruant! when in cuoar, we will always go to eat there!"

"It’s time I wrote a review for Ostlers Close. We’ve been clients since it opened and it is still cause to be overjoyed when we visit. It is the standard against which we judge others, here and In Europe and it is still “home” for us. The food, wine and service are consistently excellent and anyone seeking fine dining in this neck of the woods should visit Jimmy and Amanda for a stunning treat."
