"We had an absolutely time at the Selkie and the food was very affordable. The staff were incredibly friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. The only issue that we encountered is that we were reassured they had a wheelchair accessible toilet which was not true (unless we missed a separate toilet). The toilet has handrails but unfortunately it is impossible to get a wheelchair (even a small one) into the toilet and close the door. Luckily my friend is able to transfer safely but she did feel a wee bit embarrassed it did not allow her to be independent. I would suggest that you change the information to make it clear that wheelchairs are not able to access the bathroom or change the door so that it opens outwards into the restaurant. Otherwise we really did have an absolutely lovely time, but this could have been make or break for any other wheelchair user."

"What can l say, this restaurant is something special. Food was excellent and beautifully presented Very welcoming and friendly. Price wise, whilst some people would say an expensive restaurant to eat at, you would certainly pay an awful lot more in places like London to eat in a restaurant of this standard of food. I Would definitely return and recommend."

"This place is worthy of a great review. I visited for a meal with my parents for their golden anniversary we were a table of ten. If you like good food that's perfectly cooked in a relaxed atmosphere with excellent service at a very reasonable price then this the place for you. "Big up the taj. every day I work in dundee, I get the Indian meal for 1 on my way home! I exchange between the chicken madras and the tikka masala, it is the best meal ever it takes me Friday night and Saturday night for tee, the curry is always on point! starter cooked to perfection and the nan brot is to die! by far the best curry I had ever had good young!"
