This is one of the best golf courses in Ireland. Can be difficult off the back tees but greens, fairways everything in great condition. Top notch clubhouse and changing rooms. Food in the bar is of the highest quality. I had prawn pasta which was amazing and my friend had the mixed grill which looked the best dish read more.

Had dinner in Kileen Castle recently, very poor, basic fish in a terrible tomato based sauce, miserable portion of veggies. Poor quality, portion size and appearance. Staff lovely but erratic service, coffee awful. Shame about food as it is a beautiful place, looks and feels 5 star but the food is a big let down. read more.

Myself and my wife stayed at Killeen castle for 2 nights in one of the new lodges. We also played 2 rounds of golf. The lodge was very comfortable and spacious....
