"On the way to the Balnakeil beach, we kept short here and brought us hot chocolate and brownies. Both very delicious and recommended! I found the atmosphere less inviting. Inside, it had an uncomfortable factor, so we set ourselves out. It's a good stop for between, but no more."

"The dame at the reception was amazing, I had missed the last orders for eating and the chefs were gone, but this woman went to the kitchen and 20 minutes later presented me with squid and chips that tasted fantastic. not only that she fixes me with a room in the last minute and delicious breakfast the next morning. I will stay here"

"Pleasantly surprised to find a nice after bad offers in previous visits. Very friendly staff. I had the Thai curry, but other options included a chickpea and spinach curry, baked potato with the choice of fillings and the pizza had vegan options."

"We know the Tongue area very well, and like to eat locally, so it was obvious we would decide to eat at the Craggan, and i'm happy we did! The restaurant area is welcoming and clean, staff friendly, and the car park was easy even with a big van. The only problem was choosing from the menu! So many tasty things i wish we had more time to visit again.. All three of us enjoyed our food, and we shared everything so i know it was all delicious. Thank you for making a rather wet evening so special.."

"My wife and I visited as recommended in a NC500 travel blog. The food is locally sourced and served in exceptional dishes where there is clearly some talent in the kitchen. Remember to take your own wine as the premises are not licensed. Highly recommended."
