What User doesn't like about The Anchor:
I braved the snow and finally parked in front of The Anchor! Feeling lost, I remembered the colorful signs, so I knew my friend from Green Harbor could meet me in DUXBURY. I wasn't sure if The Anchor was a business for boaters, but I was delighted to discover it was a restaurant. We both ordered the fish and chips and enjoyed a fantastic meal with excellent service. Wow! all about our stay from the moment we were greeted was amazing. the personal was so inviting.
In a small town you want to support the local business. However when the local business doesn't support the residents of the small town the end result is never good. The manager attempted to correct a mistake by lying and informing me that the meal was recreated from scratch. When I explained a third time I was highly allergic it finally clicked to the manager to be honest. He made no attempt to correct the situation, only offering to remove the item that I did not receive from the bill. No way to run a business, only hope their other locations take a different approach.
