What Gregory Wingo likes about Sockdolager Brewing Co.:
We had a group of about 60-70 people drop in on this place on a Sunday night (with notice) and they only had 1 bartender. Thought it was insane and a very bad look. But holy cow did that bartender keep up with the very enthusiastic drinkers in the group. The beer was really good as well. The place has a cool ambiance and the outdoor area is great. Came through Abilene with some friends and stopped here for the reviews because it really did Look amazing… I’m actually convinced now that the reviews are fake or maybe just that no one has actually had good beer or good customer service? I guess it’s decent for a small town brewery but it can’t compete with the bigger cities. View all feedback.
