I have been going to the White Stag for 44 yearsThe meal I had last night (en brochette) was as excellent was it was back in 1973.

This is an outstanding steakhouse, an excellent example of the classic Wisconsin supper club Lovely interior, beautiful bar, nice dining rooms.

"The restaurant is good, but it's quite expensive. They also had some difficulties getting our meal right. They grounded some of the pages that came with every meal, they served a person in our party a very rare burger, but the food was very good."

"My husband and I do not eat out often, but when we do, William's is one of our top choices. The service is top notch and the food is wonderful. First out is a great bread basket with several different choices, then soup or salad. We both chose salads which included plentiful gourmet mixed greens, cucumber, tomato, red onion and croutons. We both ordered the rahmschnitzel which is veal schnitzel topped with mushrooms in a cream white wine sauce with sides of red cabbage and spätzle. We also appreciate the quiet, calm and cozy ambience. Their method of taking reservations alleviates waiting and the waitstaff have a manageable load which equates to excellent customer service. Highly recommend!"

"We were very disappointed at this visit. Our haystack onions were cold, my tuna didn't taste fresh. It actually tasted fishy. I've had it almost every time we go. Our old fashioned had way too much bitters for a Brandy old fashion sweet. We asked the bartender for a side of sweet soda told her it was too bitter. She never asked to make it fresh. Our server Amy is always great. We were very disappointed at this visit."
