"We did not Stat here. We did however eat in the restaurant. Old Wisconsin supper club feel. Beautiful setting, right on a lake. Very accommodating as we had requested to watch a particular college football game. The dining room is comfortable and separatefrom but adjoined to the bar. Apparently the chef was feeling ill the evening that we were there and had gone home so subs werefilling several roles. The food still came out hot, good portions, reasonably priced. Fun environment."

"It's always good there! Dad keeps saying they're menu could be used for darts and you'll never land on something bad! And there staff is very capable of dealing with my chaotic family. We spilled three drinks in one night and the server never missed a beat! Also there's a great drink there, I think it's called a Jim Bean Old Fashion. I love it! My sisters fell in love with it too! Go there. Like are you really in the North Woods if you don't go to Lumpy's at least once."

"Updated 8/10: while my below review was true and the service that day was awful, the manager made things right. He apologized after reading this review for being so under staffed. He is the reason I will 100% be going back next time I'm in the area. He offered a way to make the experience better and invite us in for another shot. I'm very excited to give them another chance, because besides the mishaps, the food really would have had amazing taste and flavor So I'm giving two stars because the food would have potential to be good. We were there for over two and a half hours waiting on our food. Never got refills or even checked on at any point. When the food did finally come it was ice cold. No joke. Had to be sitting out for easily 40 minutes before being served. It COULD have been good if it was warm or if we didn't waste our entire night waiting on food and drinks. Not to mention the bartender having no idea how to make ANY of their drinks on the drink"

"We came in with a group of 6. Estimated wait time was 45 minutes for food. It took over 3 hours and most of the food was wrong or cold. We ordered vodka lemonades but only received lemonade. The band was great, was just hoping for better service."

"Cute rustic log cabin from a bye gone era. Updated but still has the up north rustic charm. Food is fantastic: Friday fish fry, Sunday roasted chick is a must."
