Contribute FeedbackThe Nightjar offers a mixed dining experience; while some praise the food and service, others find it slow and underwhelming. The location, atmosphere, and variety of options are well-received, particularly for those with specific dietary needs. The quality of the food and friendly staff are highlighted, although there are reports of missed orders and lacking urgency. Feedback on the Nightjar's Sunday lunch, in particular, is positive, with patrons enjoying the presentation and taste of the dishes. Overall, the restaurant seems to have potential but lacks consistency in service and food quality.
Wow!! I really loved this place. It feels really homely, the menu is great and just big enough and the service was SO GOOD! I grew up in the hospitality industry and worked in it for a lot of years. This is exactly the type...of place that I would have loved working in. I was visiting my dad and we stopped off just by chance. We will come back next time I visit and I know my dad will be back as well! Thanks for a lovely visit
It was just underwhelming, had the fish and was expecting a tasty meal, but just tasteless like it had come out of the freezer and been dropped in a fryer. Staff were friendly, but when we ordered more drinks the dirty glasses were just left...on the table? Wouldn't rush back.
Characterful modern pub, great selection of beers and ciders. Fresh food. Waiter was very welcoming. Recommend the rib tickler cider.
Lunch here with family. Nicely decorated pub with a fairly wide menu. Good that they have local beer on offer, too. Reasonably priced meals.
We were greeted straight away and showed to our table within seconds it was great service and amazing food. The staff were really nice and was worth every penny.
